I am a printmaker and photographer. This print was inspired by photographs I took when I attended the JM Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice's Winter School at Oratunga Station in the Flinders Ranges in 2019. On my return to Sydney I began working on a series of prints from the photographs I took while there. The landscape is very different from the Sydney and coastal landscapes that I was more familiar with, but which has a harsh, inspiring beauty to it.
